New brand for the next generation

25 years is a significant birthday to reach in any business. It means it is established, robust, and offers lived expertise to its customers. And what better way to mark a 25 year milestone than to review an old look –  refresh it, rebrand, and reveal it.

Moundsmere Estate Management did just that. Providing country estate and farm management guidance it is a rural business consultant and lettings agent for residential and commercial properties.

It has the countryside covered.

The new brand took over 12 months in the planning, debate and development of the new look.  We began the project in August 2023 with a company-wide workshop, followed by a brand audit, and competitor research.

We established the bonds to build and the barriers we needed to overcome. We considered the current and future brand positioning, identifying an opportunity to own a unique competitor brand space.

Moundsmere’s customers and clients are loyal and long-term, but to reach new people, we had to create a brand which really stood out and would be remembered.

Potential customers will not necessarily be able to become customers immediately. So, by showing Moundsmere to be what it is – confident without being arrogant, modern without the potential to date, and forward-looking—we made the new brand memorable and therefore ready for new customers to recall and get in touch.

Our ideas were well received, but Moundsmere (rightly) needed to think through and process the changes we recommended.

And they did. And they agreed!

Our new colour palette provides striking contrasts and stands out particularly on signage around the rural areas where it is displayed. The navy and magenta brand palette is both business smart as well as unique in a rural competitive environment where browns, greens and blues are the obvious colours to use.

The brand icon reflects the ‘M’ of Moundsmere but also the hills and fields of the surrounding countryside.

Launched in September at the Alresford Show. The perfect occassion for meeting up with core customers and clients –  both present and future.

Moundsmere Estate Management is now set for the next generation and another successful 25 years … at least.
